Similarity Search — Desktop App
Detect duplicate or visually similar assets before uploading — entirely on your device.
How It Works
SendStock AI computes a visual fingerprint for each image locally. Fingerprints are compared to find assets that look similar, even if the files are different.
Everything runs on your machine — no images are sent to any server for this feature.
How to Use
- Go to the Similarity tab
- Drop an image or select one from your portfolio
- SendStock AI scans three sources simultaneously:
- Your synced portfolio (imported assets)
- Your current session (files loaded in the app)
- A live search against the broader catalog
- Results appear ranked by similarity with a risk level
Risk Levels
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Low | Visually different — safe to upload |
| Medium | Some resemblance — review recommended |
| High | Very similar — consider revising before uploading |
| Cluster | 4 or more similar assets detected in your portfolio |
Why Use It
Stock platforms penalize or reject duplicate submissions. Running a similarity check before uploading helps you:
- Avoid duplicate rejections
- Identify series of similar shots
- Keep your portfolio clean and varied
